Every spring I intend to plant a few sunflowers, but never do.  Thanks, bird!

  2. What an obliging bird. Love sunflowers. This spring I planted some Tithonia, not exactly the same, but close.

  3. I usually end up with a few birdseed sunflowers, too. :o) Birds have excellent taste in flowers.

  4. It looks like a big one! Will you eat the seeds or leave them for the birds?

    1. I think the birds will get them, which is only fair!

  5. I have stopped growing sunflowers because in the only good spot for it, they shade too many other perennials. But I miss them every summer!

    1. You may end up with a volunteer some summer, if you have a neighbor with a bird feeder. :)
