Golden Hour Side Effects

While I'm out there entranced by the Golden Hour of morning light, Boris is ripping Echeveria flowers off the plants.

Never a dull moment.

  1. I'm pretty impressed that he managed to pull the flower without yanking out the plant too. You should teach him to dead-head.

    1. He live-heads, the freshest, biggest, prettiest flowers. Grrr! At least he's beautiful.

  2. Well, it was probably a very bad Echeveria flower. I mean, I'm sure it was asking for it.

  3. Haha, no never a dull moment, they are just fun. The problem is I love the flora and fauna, of which I prefer the animals, especially these hairy ones.

  5. As Roseann Roseanna-danna always used to say, "It's always something."
Either the deer nip the top off my newly planted Blue Mist flower, or voles nip a whole row of pole bean stems... I commiserate with you over Boris' shenanigans.

    1. He'd be willing to chase deer and voles. I guess that's something.

  6. He is just trying to help I am sure! The cockatoos make a mess of the new growth and flowers in my garden, 'nature's pruners' I guess.
    Hope you are feeling better?
