  2. Lady Hillingdon is one of the most beautiful roses to my opinion, I too had still some flowers on this rose last week, but it is by far not the easiest rose in my garden. Gorgeous picture!

    1. It is not so easy here as the flowers are too delicate for hot weather. Best in winter when it is cool.

I've sworn off roses for several years now, but in a weak moment recently I was searching for a source for Climbing Lady Hill (remember the "better against a wall than in a bed" advice for this rose?) I am keeping no part of the garden moist enough for roses, so your photos, scentless tho they are, will have to suffice. In winter she gets those dark red stems too.
