Wednesday Vignette

I wasn't thinking of the flowers when adding Crassula pubescens ssp. radicans as companion to Agave 'Joe Hoak', but the flower colors agree perfectly with 'Joe's foliage.  An inadvertently happy accident.

  1. Beautiful! Are these already the real flowers of the Crassula or many little buds who still are going to open pale pink?

  2. I love that Crassula too! The red foliage color also makes it a nice companion to Agave 'Blue Glow'.

  4. This is my favorite stage in the blooming of so many things...must have something to do with the idea of "promise"(?)
