  2. A beautiful Yucca dear Hoover, I really like the variation in the colour of the spiky leaves from green to silver.
    Happy week dear friend!

    1. It is a nice surprise when a photo turns out good. Kind of an art-deco look.

  4. No designer could do better - the Fibonacci sequence in foliage.

  5. Entrancing! The light seems to be coming from within the plant rather than it reflecting sunlight.

Have only recently realized these are growable on the east coast -- from seeing them in pics at Chanticleer (in the made-drier-than-normal Gravel Garden). They have an attention-getting shimmering fireworks effect that's a great contrast to shapelessness and fuzzy/foamy plants.

    1. They have great grass-like movement on a windy day--shimmering, as you said. With the bluest selections, the dried out leaves which in a dry climate are pale blonde, make a wonderful contrast.

  6. "Kinda cool" doesn't half cut it. 'Resplendent' comes a little closer.
