"To Boldly Grow Where No Man Had Lawn Before"
Es bellisima la Banksia. Mil gracias por mostrar tan excelentes fotos. Un saludo desde PLantukis.
Flores tan hermosas son fáciles de fotografiar. Gracias!
Love those leaves. Be nice if I could grow it, if only to watch the rabbits have a go..
The small, newly planted ones are in little protective cages. Rabbits are a scourge here, too. Yes, the leaves are wonderful. The flowers are a bonus.
Such an alien-looking plant!
But in a good way?
Wow, stunning! I hope you saw a lot interesting sights at the UCSC Arboretum.
It was AWESOME! We had a great time.
It's a beauty. Visiting the UC Santa Cruz Arboretum is on my short list of must do's...
I have more motivational photos--they will get you there!
We wants it.
Yesses, we wants it, too.
Oh that is just splendid...time for me to get my keister back down to that garden again.
Looking forward to your photos! Please, hint, hint.
Banksias are starting to grow on me. This one brings to mind the Pop Up popsicles I used to eat as a kid (which is a good thing!).
The pinking-shear edges of the foliage, which many of the genus have--isn't it great? You are right, pondering that color--Creamsicle it is! There are some petite and ground cover species--many are small trees.I hope you can get to the UCSC Arboretum if you have not been, Kris. It was wonderful!!!
Those leaves! Those creamsickle blossoms! The light! I'm blown away by it all! I know, I know...too many exclamation marks, but what is one to do?
Imagine what it was like being there. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
