How can spring possibly be complete without a mad insane riotous overdose of masses of towering Foxgloves? Like a Manhattan for bees, in Easter-egg hues.
The California version is of course accented with Dracena draco:
Just as reflection belongs to Winter, and thankfulness to Autumn, giddiness is completely appropriate for Spring,
Ain't that fun? This was at Sherman Gardens in Corona del Mar. I keep meaning to plant foxglove seeds again--they are so easy--and somehow never get around to it. Maybe this fall...
Wow ! I am very sure, I will never forgeth those pictures !!! Stunning !!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Are they growing in full sun? I never had much luck with mine, these are truly stunning.
ReplyDeleteDANI, glad you enjoyed them. Those foxgloves sure put a smile on my face--so exuberant!
ReplyDeleteMasha, they are growing in full sun, but they are less than a half mile from the ocean, where temperatures are always very, very mild.
