Agave Bloom Update

Thar be bulbils!

No seed pods at all, but tiny bulbils...so there will be plenty of new plants.  The tiny bulbil leaves are curved inward, like taco shells.

While I was out front, I went to have a look at the HOA's 'Falstaff', which was in bloom.
Sorry about the water.  The HOA sprinklers went off.  Gawky plant, stingy, but what few flowers occur are gorgous and perfectly formed.

Need more Calandrinia.

  5. @Danger, @Spiky, there is a guerrilla gardening group in LA that I think might still take donations of Agaves. I've set up a raised bed to get some started and share the wealth, hopefully.
