I have two planting areas on the patio. They are in deep shade all day, year round. I've tried various plants, but only Clivias manage to thrive in these areas. Architects and designers who "soften" patios by creating planting areas, if forced to plant and maintain them, would soon abandon the "soften" thing.
In the meantime, Clivias.
This one is so beautiful. Overhere we only know the organge colored clivia.
ReplyDeleteHi Marijke, The orange one is very common here. Yellow ones are a little rare, but available.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful clivias, I love the yellow flowers, it is like Springtime here at present so I am hoping mine will flower again

Beautiful photos of your lovely Clivias!
ReplyDeleteIs your variety "San Marcos Yellow"?
Thanks Dianne!
ReplyDeleteChris, I don't know. There was no label on the one I bought. There are several yellows commercially available.
