Happy Bloomday! Your custom daylily has a stunning color. Does it have a name?
ReplyDeleteHappy GBBD! You have amazing blooms and I especially enjoyed your yellow peony! Cheers, Jenni
ReplyDeleteGreat photos dear Hoover, your flowers are so beautiful!

My day is immeasurably improved after seeing your luscious May blooms. And you are hybridizing day lilies?! Wow.
ReplyDeletealoha,
ReplyDeletethe colors are dazzling, love the sharp macro details, very nicely composed :)
Gorgeous, Hoov! I'm thinking that Thumbelina lav with the chartreuse santolina whose name I'm forgetting.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. Especially like your Iris and Convolvulus.
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much for your kind comments! The day lily has no name. I experimented with hybridizing a few and learned a LOT, and it was fun, too. It takes more room than I have to do it seriously, or for very long.
ReplyDelete'Lemon Fizz' Santolina, yes that would look fab with the lavender!
I would like to see the lemon fizz myself. Happy gbbd.
ReplyDeleteNice shots Hoov ! But where are the puppies ?
ReplyDeleteGlorious photos as always. I especially loved your beautiful clematis, the hydrangea 'Shooting Star' (haven't seen that before) and the wonderful yellow peony.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog from GBBD - what a lovely garden you have! That Evelyn Rose is a treasure.
