Do you fertilize your tomatoes? I don't.
Why they grow rampantly I have no idea. Just seventeen days ago...
Early fruit forming this year:
The new 'Cara Cara' orange tree is also thriving.
The first tiny orange fruit!
As usual, the blueberries are suffering terrible finger blight. The fruit just doesn't make it into the house-- doesn't even make it into the harvest bowl. Yum!
The lillies bought at the garden show are emerging:
The cheap big-box Dahlia 'Arabian Night'I planted is blooming. It seems healthy enough.
I have seventy bell pepper plants to figure out what to do with.
So maybe no fertilizer for the tomatoes is the right idea, though the one hundred and twenty trips we made up and down stairs lugging up new soil for the raised beds might have had something to do with it.
Or nothing at all to do with it. In the garden, indeterminancy applies to more than just tomatoes.

Your plants are thriving, the dahlia is quite spectacular.

Really impressed by your home-grown produce, and I just love the colour of that dahlia. I am looking forward to a trip to the country to pick up some tubers in the next few months.

Just so you know, your tomato photos are causing me severe distress -- all I can say is Abundanza! My plants are still puny underperformers.
ReplyDeleteDo you at least rotate your tomato plot locations? You're definitely doing something right! I nurtured a plant through this warm winter and got the occasional January tomato off of White Zebra. But my current plants don't look anything like yours.
