No water
Lots of water
Lots of fish! I think she grew.
Low water (Agave pygmae 'Dragon Toes')
Lower water (Aloe peglarae)
Likes water (Rosa 'JacSegra')
In the water
By the water
Wanting water
Getting watered
Water hose is showing
Has been watered more lately
Has not been watered at all
Expressing gratitude for water given
Pooled
Sparkling, alive, life itself. With a beaver in it.
So Why H Two Oh No!? This is why:

Ouch, that's alot for H2O! But it's also nice to see photos of your Koi, they all look so lovely and healthy!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Since the new UV went in the water has been spectacular and the Koi have been lively. :)
DeleteThat is a sizeable water bill- which reminds me that I must check mine for the later part of the summer/early fall. This summer was a bad season for rain in many places.
ReplyDeleteOur downfall was a horrible two months of unrelenting heat. Hope yours isn't so bad!
DeleteOh my! Please tell me that you're on a billing cycle kind of like ours where you pay for 3 months at a time? If that is only one month then good god I am so sorry!
ReplyDelete60 days. Still ridiculous. My Mom with the public water company was paying $10/month. Our water company over the city line is for-profit, and they are obviously getting plenty of profit. Privatization, bah humbug!
DeleteGorgeous koi as always! I really should re-design my pond to include a skimmer and U.V. Sorry about your water bill! What will they charge us for next? Air?
ReplyDeleteMy pond is on version 2.5...3.0 will be just right, but I'm not planning for a 3.0. It takes a while to get it right with ponds, unless you are a very, very careful planner, which I was not!
DeleteMan I thought my bill was bad. I used 40000 gallons in July. whew! 135.00.
ReplyDeleteHells bells ! That is one robust water bill. I am now even more grateful for our 35 inches of rain here, though even in July my bill is never over 150 for 2 months.
ReplyDeleteThat bill makes our ridiculously high Portland water bills seem modest by comparison! So glad to see the garden and the koi are at least rewarding you gorgeously for your costs and care.
ReplyDeleteCan't you return the bill and tell the office money does not make happy. Oef I don't want to think of such a water bill. And I don't have to because we have rain enough overhere.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo's Hoover. I love the koi's
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hoov, that bill is flat out insane. I had no idea your water was privatized. City of LB charged us $35 for October (254 gallons a day over 29 days, totaling 7,400 gallons).
ReplyDeleteShows what privatization of public resources does. It's not what it's touted to be.
