Gosh what kind of tree was it, the roots look very invasive? Any swearing would be justified. :)

DeleteI know. Just yesterday I was feebly trying to extract an old ceanothus stump. Not having (nor being capable of safely wielding) a pick, I finally gave up and planted slightly to the rear of it. Sigh.
