The view from the top of the hill. Old windbreaks of Eucalyptus on the hillside. When the night is cool, but the morning warm, a haze rises from the earth. Shadows on the grass
Shadows left behind, as the jogger runs by, on down the hill, in the neighborhood.
Neat portrayal! You even make the Eucalyptization of coastal CA almost look nice... The morning haze at first looked like, "no not another wildfire" with that dark light, but then I finished the other photos. I can almost smell that...mmmm!

Beautiful photos, lovely words. Can imagine how you feel when you walk there and see these beautiful landscapes in the morning.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Janneke. Morning is my favorite time of the day.
DeleteWonderful photos of your neighbourhood dear Hoover, amazing vistas, the eucalyptus emit a lovely fragrance from the oils in their leaves.

Thank you Dianne. The Eucalyptus fragrance is unforgettable.
DeleteThat first picture is stunning. It looks like a combination of a French plein aire painting and a serigraph. Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you MulchMaid, I am off to see what a "serigraph" is--my vocabulary will get one word larger today. : )
DeleteYou are an amazing photographer!
ReplyDeleteVery kind of you, thanks!

ReplyDeleteSo many people I talk to think Eucs and Schinus molle are native trees. Sigh.
