Agave 'Snow Glow', for the slope.  I was shopping for the slope, and only for the slope, and couldn't find much.  Those Leucadendrons followed me home.

  1. I love reading plant shopping posts in winter (or almost-winter). Hope you do it every couple of weeks or so until spring arrives. :)

    1. Fresh stock of new introductions in all the nurseries and garden centers is painfully tempting!

  2. Natasha's expression is priceless! Funny how these plants followed you home when you were shopping for only the slope. How did that happen? They must have really loved you.

    1. Plants: we just have to deal with them.

I don't know what she was doing. I think she was getting ready to bark.

  4. Fantastic plant choices. What's not to love about leucadendrons and agaves! And that 'Snow Glow' is perfect; the largest specimen I've ever seen for sale.

I think Natasha is jealous that SHE didn't find these awesome plants!

  5. I have little luck with fall planting, so I'm released from shopping for a while. Oh wait! Christmas is coming, isn't it?

  6. Yes, my car has been bursting with plants lately too, though I brought home Pisa a while back midsummer. So many leucs in the nurseries! Pompom took the ride home too. Amazing how many plants can fit, but I can't imagine taking Boris & Natasha for a ride in the Mini...

    1. Yes all kinds of Leucs the past few weeks. Grevilleas, too. 'Pom Pom' looks quite dazzling in bloom--that one I am looking forward to.

B&N in the car get bouncy and loud. Not recommended, even in a land yacht.

    1. I think she was either just about to sneeze, or just about to bark.

  8. Those are two beautiful Leucadendrons. And if they're going to follow you home, it's a good thing they don't eat much...

    1. More importantly for here in drought-land, they are not too thirsty!
