Hairy Holidays

Hey!  Is that the treat jar?
Okay, We're Staying!  Give us treats!
Oops, sorry.  But I don't want to wear a hat.  Well maybe for another treat...
There.  You got a picture.  So hand over the jar.
Hmm...Let me sniff your breath. Was your treat better than my treat?
Did you get the picture?  The hat fell off by itself.  Talk to the hat, not me.  Give us another treat if you want us to keep doing this.
Ain't I debonair?  Don't I deserve another treat?
Did you take the picture yet?  Wait!  Is that a bug crawling up the wall?
Yeah, I think it's a bug.  A crunchy, tasty bug.
Oh, alright.  There.  Got the photo you wanted?  Satisfied now?  I look silly in a hat.  Is that jar empty already?  Adios.  Call me when the jar is full again.

May your holidays be absolutely filled with treats.

  2. Gosh, these photos are absolutely adorable! How did you get your dogs to do them? There must be more than a cookie jar behind it...
Seriously your dogs are absolutely gorgeous and sweet at the same time. Wonderful animals! I could drool over these photos all day long, but have to get on with the Christmas preparations. I am still so far behind...
    Wishing you wonderful holidays!
    Warm regards,
    Christina

    1. Actually they will do just about anything for food. I believe it's right there in the AKC Breed Standard. ;^)

Have a great holiday and New Year!

  3. Perhaps Natasha would prefer a tiara next year? Whether they realize it or not (and I suspect they do), they're adorable. And you're very patient. I hope you get your fair share of treats too. Happy holidays!

    1. Yes, Princess Natasha needs a tiara. She would prefer one made of bacon. They know darn well how adorable they are and exploit it at every opportunity. Happy Holidays!

  4. One is challenging enough, but two? Good work! Adorable.

Happy Holidays to you and yours!

  5. Aw! Dogs in Santa hats even make me a believer.

  6. Whee... {wipes eyes} That fourth shot of the two of them makes me laugh and laugh. Natasha's rejectionist attitude is even more vivid set next to the stoicism of Good Dog Boris. She is a trip.

    They're both good dogs, Brent.

  7. Aw, this post was the biggest treat yet! :) Nice job getting the dogs to wear Santa hats - no small task in itself, I imagine. My hat's off to you! Merry Christmas!

  11. I always suspected there really was a Santa, but 2 of them? You got several poster-perfect shots but (hats5696) takes the cake!

    1. They like cookies as much as the real Santa, so maybe there are three.
