Baby Lizard

Baby lizard.  The quickest, most alert, and most cautious survive.  It's who they are.  It's what they do.

Good luck little baby!

The tomato harvest continues.  In August, it's what I do.

My neighbor's Salvia is looking good.  The hummingbirds are busy with it.

The bees are busy with the Dahlia.

The myrtle is busy blooming:

I work at getting the culvert area cleaned up.

Concrete guys tend to leave a lot of garbage, cover it up with some soil when the homeowner isn't looking, grab the check, and high-tail it out of there.  It's who they are.  It's what they do.  It's what archeologists of the future will live on.  Instead of leaving one of the old block walls uncovered so I could move it, they buried it.  Now I am digging it up again to reuse the blocks.

At least the roses back there are looking okay.

And the puppies, looking very doggy and not very puppy any more.

What's he thinking there?  That all that loose soil would be fun to dig through?

It's who he is.  It's what he does.

  1. REally love the steps you are building, nice.... your roses look a whole lot better than mine and today I picked my first ripe cherry tomatos... What a difference a few zones make

  2. The lizard looks cute, and so does the puppies! Concrete men eh! Leaving you with more unnecessary work to do. But as you've said that's what they do and just have to get on with it :)
