Beautiful words and pictures. Morning sun in the garden is magical! (Really, sun any time of the day this time of year is pretty special in these parts.)
I love that first photo with the agave and its shadows. Looking back through your posts, it seems that things have responded to the rains, and I hope things will be more normal for you on that front in the coming year.

Lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kris.
DeleteThe soft tone of morning light, lovely!
ReplyDeleteThe best time of day.
DeleteI love gardens in the morning. The low angle of the sun, especially in winter, gives everything a different look.
ReplyDelete(Yes, I even like spending mornings in the garden in the winter. So quiet, so crisp.)
Where there is a large open area, the long shadows that cross it are marvelous.
DeleteI should make an effort to get up early! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhere was the third photo taken? Looks like the Huntington.
No that's my back yard...yeah, right. Yes, the Huntington.
DeleteGorgeous photos dear Hoover, early morning is my favourite time of the day.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Les. We keep hoping the drought will finally ease.
DeleteAlmost enough to make an early riser of me...almost.
ReplyDeleteThere's always sunset instead of sunrise! Not everyone is a morning person.
