I got it at Village, only time and place I've ever seen it. L. discolor (the species) is very, very similar--'Pom Pom' is a male selection of the species.

Love this! I bought one when we were in SoCal at Christmas. It died before I could even get it planted.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I learned about Leucadendron is you need to leave the pot in full sun. They go kaput in the shade!
DeleteMe he quedado perplejo, es bellisima, un abrazo desde plantukis
ReplyDeleteHola Plantukis, Me alegro que te guste el Leucadendron. JardinerÃa feliz!
DeleteI love 'Pom Pom' so much. I wish I had room for one. Please post more photos as the flowers on yours open up.
ReplyDeleteThat's it, that's the entire crop: one flower. More flowers next year, I hope! It appears to be sprouting new growth, finally.
DeleteA great photograph...of a beautiful Leucadendron!
ReplyDeleteThanks! When the plant is that beautiful, it's easy to get a good photo.
DeleteSo pretty! I don't think I've ever seen this one in the garden centers.
