  1. I too have a large bank of Disneyland roses that are just starting to open. Quite a riot of color!

  2. I'm jealous! A large bank would be way better than just one! :)

  3. How many plants is that? Are they super floriferous? Where do you get them?

  4. That's just one plant. It's floriferous, though I would hesitate to say super floriferous. There are a few that are a little better--I would say 'Julia Child' and 'Day Breaker' are two examples that bloom a little more, and rebloom faster.

If you ever need to know who sells a particular rose, look up the rose at helpmefind.com/roses. One tab will have a list of growers who sell that particular rose.

  5. WOW! Just one plant! AMAZING! Thanks for the info! [PLite goes back to dropping his little nasturtium seeds in teeny holes.]

  6. Hi hoovb, I'm a long time lurker from garden web. Your post there of Disneyland with that blue vase enabled me to buy it! I would really appreciate your opinion.
I live in socal, near Calabasas and bell canyon. However, when my disneyland opens it isn't very bright. :( I've had a couple bright blooms but for the most part they have been faded, washed out tans and light pinks.. Are those bright colors heat dependent? When I first bought it, it was rather cool. Or does the color get better as it matures? It's looking very pastel at the moment... Thank you so much for any insight!

  7. Hi Ro&Mi, Afternoon shade would be my suggestion. Mine is in morning sun only and I believe that makes the difference between rich color and bleached-out.

  8. I'm loving the colors of this rose but not familiar with it. Is this a modern shrub rose?

    1. Floribunda, 2003. A couple of others in the same color range and excellent performers are 'Tuscan Sun' and 'Easy Does It'. TS has the best disease resistance, EDI the most pure coloration. 'Disneyland' is right in between.
