The pigs stopped a visiting Border Collie dead in his tracks. He began barking furiously at them, to no avail.

Agaves, oh so silver and blue on a cloudy dewy day.

This might be Agave 'Mr. Ripple':

Astelia chathamica 'Silver Spear' and Dichondra 'Silver Falls' stunning in a tall grey pot. There are blue Echeverias tucked in there as well, though only close inspection reveals them.

We got Aloe deltoideodonta var. candicans, a petite Aloe native to Madagascar. The sea foam green leaves carry an overlay of white striping. It reminds me of the white overlay on Agave 'Joe Hoak', so I think I'll plant it near beautiful 'Joe'.

  2. Hoov, those agave photos are spectacular. Funny that my pot of astelia trails that silver ponyfoot too. I'm so enjoying the koi saga. Glad they're tucked in safe again.
