Summer Combos

Combos for summer.  And it is summer:  on Monday, the sun was fierce for the first time in a long time.  It wasn't all that hot, but the sun told me to take cover for the next three months.  I will.

Before I could get back out there to cut the slug's head off, a bird came and ate the slug.  Good!

  2. I love the lizard photo, especially the way it is splayed its legs out to ensure it is a close tot he hot rock as possible. Lizards are sadly VERY rare in London, I would love them in my garden.

  3. Sigh...I love your fish! And lizards and dahlias...you can keep the slugs though. I was thinking about liatris last year, surprised to learn it didn't mind low winter chill conditions. Maybe this fall I'll plant some.
