We took a leisurely after-lunch stroll yesterday at a local garden center.  Yucca gloriosa 'Tiny Star' called to me (loudly!), and I answered.

'Tiny Star' is even brighter than Y. 'Bright Star'.  I'd say this plant more than makes up for not being able to grow Hostas.

  1. That is a lovely yucca. Not seen it in the UK yet, but will now have to keep my eyes open!

  2. It is a spectacular plant, I really like variegated foliage as it adds so much interest to the colours of the garden.
I too love Hostas, I see them in garden images on the Web and wish that they were mine, the last one I had was attacked by snails and slugs and sadly died.
