      They are, aren't they? I like them more and more as time goes by. Lots of people call them "old lady" flowers, but I realize now "old ladies" might be on to something!

    I sometimes think the dried colors are as interesting as the fresh. My wife will attach them to a grapevine wreath to keep in the house over the winter.

    Our hydrangeas are only just starting to bloom. We have to leave the spent blooms on the plant through winter here in the UK, to protect next year's blooms from frost.
