Aloe hardyii
Aloe vanbaleni
I put several chunks of sandstone out front so lizards could lay on them and warm their bellies. It worked!
Happy lizard.
Aloe arborescens continues:
So does Tagetes lemonii
And Metrosideros 'Spring Fire'--has it grown?
Back in May:
I guess it has grown a bit. The late autumn sun felt so good--warming not burning. It will cloud up and be cool over the next few days. I'm lucky I got to feel the sun yesterday.

You lucky people with lizards in your garden could only post photos of those and I would visit every day. That's a great photo!
ReplyDeleteThat Tagetes lemonii must be the star of the garden right now! How long does it bloom?
Thanks, another reason I put sandstone chunks out front, photo opportunities. The tagetes blooms maybe 6 weeks in autumn, the same in spring, with a sprinkle of flowers in between. Maintenance is cutting the whole thing to the ground after autumn bloom. A very easy plant and a lot of excitement for a small amount of effort.
DeleteEven I'm jealous! Looks happy and thriving.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI have an unattractive amount of flower envy. Especially aloe flowers!!
