Impressive growth for an own-root rose planted rather late in spring for our climate.
In cool weather, the flowers are nearly coral:
The other two Austin roses I got this spring, 'Munstead Wood', and 'Snow Goose', did not do nearly so well. They are perhaps a few inches larger than they were went they arrived. I got exactly one flower from 'Munstead Wood'. I got quite a few from 'Princess':
The puppy growth this year was impressive, too.
