A young Agave ovatifolia potted up out of the nursery container it was busting out of.  It looks happier.

Itoh peony bud.  It has leafed out with less enthusiasm than the past two years.  Our hot dry winter seems to have set it back a little.

Hemerocallis 'Sabine Bauer' moved to a sunny spot out front.  It was declining in increasing shade in the back gully.

  1. It's fascinating that the pups can convey such different expressions. Natasha does indeed look inscrutable.

  2. Beautiful dogs and roses! I love that first white one. And the peony bud looks so tantalizing! I have nothing but aconites and snow in my garden now...

  3. I hope he's not thinking, "How much more of my crate can I eat?" (It also looks like Natasha is still munching on his sideburns. . . .

  5. Wonderful plant and flowers images dear Hoover, is that a white ranunculus flower in image #1? Very pretty.
Natasha has an adorable face, she looks like a little doll, Boris is very handsome.
I was hoping for rain here and it came down in a deluge, thunder, lightning, hail stones, flash flooding, 3inches of rain in two hours, that was Saturday and again yesterday. The garden enjoyed the precipitation.
