I haven't looked through my photos from this garden yet, but we captured several of the same areas. It will be interesting to compare... Remembering the cool of the shade...
Some nice images here -- I don't know if #3 or #4 is my favorite.

Were those bloggers looking at their phones, instead of at the garden? That's...kind of unimaginable to me.
ReplyDeleteNot sure--might have been their cameras. There was a whole lot of clicking going on.

Yes, it was so nice and cool there. We saw so many different gardens, and the variety was wonderful, wasn't it?
DeleteThe class act of the serene Japanese Garden, perfectly exposed. These photos would make a fantastic brochure (and they could use one).
ReplyDeleteAutumn must be the best time for photos there--the Maples turning colors...
DeleteNice images Gail. We found it a bit of a challenge to take good photos there due to the bright sun causing too much contrast.
ReplyDeleteThanks! The light is even harsher in So Cal--so I was somewhat used glare & harsh contrast.
DeleteBeautiful and peaceful. Your photos made great use of the light.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kris!
DeleteLovely images! And how nice of you to bring a lovely, cool respite to me on this hot So Cal day!
ReplyDeleteYesterday was awful, wasn't it? Today not quite so hot--thankfully.
DeleteStunning shots!
ReplyDeleteThanks Caroline. I loved the one you took of Mt. Hood (and all the others).
DeleteQuality indeed! Good to hear from you by the way.
ReplyDeleteLikewise, Greggo. Your garden is looking fabulous this year.
DeleteAmazing shots! What a wonderful garden to visit; you captured its essence perfectly.
