Why No Gardening Today

Not because of Agave 'Blue Flame'


Because noise:
It's a gorgeous day outside, but...noise.  The puppies are cowering in the powder room and the koi are cowering in the bottom of the pond.  The house is shaking, the glass in the windows rattle, the ground is vibrating.

      two more days. probably not as bad as having roof stuff thrown all over your plants.

    Wonderful photo of the agave. Noise...bah humbug. It can sure ruin a day.

    Ugh... maybe do what my son did in elementary school? That poor dear chose to wear over-the-head ear muffs in class to shut out the noise of his classmates. He just couldn't focus with the cacaphony of voices, rumbling chairs, and pencil sharpeners around him. Hopefully the big machines will move on soon...

      Smart kid. Wish I had had those--elementary school noise was unbearable to me too--noise still makes me unable to concentrate.
