Busy At The Bird Bath

Busy at the bird bath:

Western Bluebirds,  House Finches, Goldfinches.  A Yellow-rumped Warbler perches for a bit on the right side tower.

  1. Well, that is a crowd! They must have been drawn by the shining clean fountain. I haven't seen that many birds at one time in my fountain for quite awhile, even though there have been a lot of them passing through of late. Maybe my fountain needs cleaning...

    1. Actually just as busy before the cleaning as after. Guess they're not picky. Sometimes there are so many goldfinches in there all you can see are the little heads. A surprising number of different species visiting when I'm elsewhere. Thrilled to see the Western Bluebirds on the videos.

    1. They visit, have a bath, and eat bad bugs in the garden. Win-win!

  3. Looks like your water feature cleaning efforts are much appreciated! It’s nice that your camera records sounds too - lots of happy chirping :)

    1. The chirping ads to the fun. Some of the videos have mockingbirds singing--those are delightful.

  4. They are so fun to watch! (makes me want to jump in a pool...)

    1. The birds look like they are having fun. Can a bird have fun? I hope so.

  5. Migration is in full swing. So much fun to watch them all clambering together.

    1. Very lucky to have them visit. When they stop and snack on bad bugs, even better.

  6. Oh, how fun! We've had lots of activity at our bird bath lately, too. The robins are so plentiful here until it gets cold and the water starts to freeze. Warm forecast for the next 10 days, so yay! Great video!

    1. Enjoy the beautiful fall weather!

We get Robins now and then. They seem to like the Toyon berries when they ripen in early winter.
