On Wednesday I had major surgery on my chronically unstable left knee and am now recovering. The garden is starting to look really springtime good: powerful motivation to recover and get back Out There.
Beloved, who has been heroically supportive and kind, even took a few photos so I could see the garden. He is kindness itself.
Wishing you a speedy recovery. Where would we be without our Beloveds? Lovely photos to help cheer you up and motivate you. Rest and recover and let yourself be pampered.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes indeed where would we be?
DeleteIt's good of your husband to help out with some photos of your garden so you can stay in touch with what's going on while you heal. If only you could fit Boris and Natasha with collar cameras to collect dogs' eye views of what's going on until you can get out and about yourself ;) There's another prospect of light rain in the forecast for Saturday.
ReplyDeleteHe's been wonderful. Itching to get outside and worried about a few plants with 3 warm days ahead, but not there yet. Hoping for Saturday rain!
DeleteA speedy recovery, HB, your garden awaits (as do your readers).
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see a different angle of the garden (first photo), one I hadn't seen before. It all depends on who is holding the camera... a lovely gesture.
Here's to snapping garden photos yourself very soon.

Thank you! I love when others find a viewpoint in my garden I've missed. It's...refreshing.
DeleteI'm sending all the best for your rest & strong recovery! The garden is luscious, I know you'll be back out there in no time.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope to be out there soon.
DeleteAs one who has been confined to the sofa and indoor life while recovering from surgery (ankle), I can sympathize. Here's wishing you a speedy recovery!
ReplyDeleteThank you! The pain has been much less than expected. Hoping.
DeleteBest wishes for a quick return to normal activities, especially those garden-related.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Yes, the garden stuff. The vacuum will have to wait
DeleteI hope you are back in the garden soon. I'm having knee and leg issues too but haven't checked it out with a professional yet. (Sigh)
ReplyDeleteTake good care of yourself. Not being able to garden is not fun!
DeleteMany good wishes for full recovery so that you can be in your beautiful garden. Love the glow of spring in that first photo.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Every day a little better. Very lush growth here after two winters of better-than-average rainfall--it's a thrill to see.
DeleteIt is interesting to see one's garden through another's eyes. Hope you are finding enough to keep yourself occupied while you are recovering.
ReplyDeleteWell, not able to garden yet, but was able to roll a walker around a garden center yesterday. It was fun to get out a bit.
DeleteA week later - and I hope you can see and feel good progress.
ReplyDeleteI can feel it now! Sorry for delay in reply. Everything takes 10x as long these days.
DeleteJust seeing this post now. SPEEDY RECOVERY! Your garden is waiting patiently, but it needs you!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I need the garden as much as it needs me--maybe more so.
